About Tamera...

After enjoying seventeen wonderful years in Colorado, Tamera and her family recently moved to reside in her native south. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Tamera quickly developed a love and appreciation both the Rocky Mountains and for its colorful history. Hence, her acclaimed historical fiction/romance series entitled Fountain Creek Chronicles is set against the backdrop of the Pike’s Peak area (circa 1860-70s). She’s already hard at work on her next three-part historical series which takes place in the region surrounding the breathtaking Maroon Bells. From a Distance, part of Timber Ridge Reflections, a three-book historical series, will be available spring 2008.

Before turning to writing, Tamera’s professional background was in business management and corporate conference coordination. She’s led women’s ministries, has been active in music ministry, and enjoys facilitating small groups and Bible studies, as well as mentoring other women. She enjoys traveling the country speaking to women’s groups and encourages them to allow God to ‘dust off their discarded dreams’. Tamera earned a business degree from Harding University and now lives with her husband in Tennessee, where they enjoy life with their two college-age children and another important member of their family—a seven-pound Silky named Jack.
